7, 2001We are going to ABC (Advanced
Base Camp) tomorrow. The yaks
come tomorrow morning — we’ve packed all our extra gear — and we
head up to ABC. It will take us two days probably. And from ABC we will try to
establish a camp on the Col. So we will be out of contact for probably six days
depending on if we lug this sat phone up to that area.Other than that,
we’ll try to work out the problem with the computer and get photos out to
the general public.
